Mission Statement

Far often, people get caught up in their minds about their identity, how they should engage, and what is expected of them that they miss out completely on raw and genuine interactions.

When you interact with people, you want to highlight and showcase the most desirable attributes of yourself. However, when your mind is preoccupied and juggle overlaying thoughts, it can be difficult to do so.

Distractions, and sometimes an overactive mind, may prevent you from fully being aware and being present. More often than not, this impedes the quality of your interactions.

Therefore, the question to ask yourself during your interaction with someone is this:

What are my underlying emotional intentions with this person? Or better, what kind of impression do I want to leave them with once the conversation ends? How do I want them to feel once I say goodbye and make my exit?

Excerpted from The Tonian Method, by author Isen Ton.

If not for spending so much time learning about the nuances and shades of human personality and emotions, I am sure I would have grown into a different person, much more intolerant of diversity and fearful of interaction. Occasionally, this unfounded fear comes back once in a while, though a lot less often.

Similar to having an AI (artificial intelligence) that thinks for you, The Tonian Method taught me a lot about the logic and values behind being human. The most critical piece of advice I extracted from using The Tonian Method was this: what we do and say have an impact on others in an entirely different way from how they understand things. Despite having the best intention in the world, I realized that if people don't express themselves adequately, then that can lead to an accumulation of small misunderstandings which can lead to unnecessary conflicts. If people's intentions aren't made clear during a conversation, what everyone says will become irrelevant as there will be no one genuinely listening. Conflicts will be over who says what and everyone's time will be wasted in the end.

We must re-discover to listen, not just to others, but to ourselves as well; to who we are as this can each us to understand why we say what we say and do what we do

Allow me to share with you simple yet practical logic and wisdom found within nine numbers

So far, I must say that they have helped add meaning to my day to day interaction with others. They have even shed light over why my communication with some individuals are just not great, not that it is good or bad in any way, but rather, that sometimes... that is just the way it is.

On a big scale and a long run, I would love to meet like-minded individuals through the teachings and sharing of the book, The Tonian Method. This very much sums up my goal and mission statement. It comes in two parts:

1) To minimize society's harsh and unfounded judgment of people that are mostly born out of fear and ignorance.

2) To restore deep human values from our overly-desensitized modern lifestyle by promoting knowledge of authenticity found within everyone.
